Your iris photo is used to make your art. That’s it.

What we do with your photo

The iris photo you upload is used for exactly one thing: to render the artwork you ordered. A person and a rendering pipeline in our studio use it to create your proof, and — once you approve — your final print.

What we never do

• We never use your photo to identify you or anyone else.
• We never use it to train any AI or machine-learning model.
• We never sell it, and we never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• Our printing partner receives only the finished artwork — never your source photo.

How we store it

Your photo is stored encrypted, in the EU region only, for as long as it takes to make your piece. We delete it within 30 days of your print shipping. Gift-flow uploads follow the same rule, counted from the recipient’s shipment.

Delete it any time

You can ask us to delete your photo at any point in the order — before or after your proof. Email privacy@eyejoy.art and we’ll confirm once it’s done. If deletion happens before we’ve rendered, we’ll simply ask for a new photo when you’re ready.

We’re an art studio, not a data product

That sentence is the whole policy in miniature. We make one thing — a framed artwork — and your photo exists only to make it. Nothing about our business depends on keeping or mining your data.
